JØRGEN DONS

Jørgen Dons is the partner and head bartender at Raus Bar in Trondheim, Norway. He is also the creator of VI Aquavit, crowned the world’s best white unaged spirit at the SFWSC in 2022. In addition, he runs a pop-up restaurant called Klempe & Dons, where he and his chef partner Håvsrd Klempe create a bespoke menu consisting of 10 dishes paired with 10 cocktails. 

Jørgen’s accolades include being the international winner of the Nikka Perfect Serve, and being named the Nordics Bartender of the Year in Diageo World Class, while Raus Bar has been awarded the Best Bar in Norway.

Jørgen is known for his playful and tasty cocktails, taking root in the classics, but with a modern touch. With over 15 years of experience behind the bar, and guest shifts all over Europe, Asia, and the US, Jørgen is one of the most respected bartenders from the nordics.
