“The Diversity of Sherry and its Influence on Craft Cocktails”

For this Bisou Bisou Round Table session, we are joined by Steven Dragun, who will share his in-depth knowledge and passion for sherry wine and taste you on some wonderful examples of the many styles of sherry out there.

STEVEN DRAGUN

Steven entered the beverage industry in 2008 after finishing graduate school at Northwestern University.  As a musician, Steven discovered being a bartender and a musician shared many similarities, which triggered a profound interest in craft cocktails.  After moving to New York City in 2013, his skills and love for the cocktail fully developed, which led him to the cocktail competition scene where he garnered numerous awards and recognitions. Having previously worked for New York Distilling Co. and Angel’s Envy, Steven is currently National Brand Ambassador for the House of Lustau and is a certified Sherry Educator through the Consejo Regulador in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.
